Well I think pet projects are in the eye of the beholder. Repairing the levees along the Mississippi River seems real important to the folks who live there, but for someone that would never be flooded by them I guess the project could be considered as a pet project.
I believe I just read that there are no earmarks though.
Of course there are pet projects in there. Calling it by a different name doesn't make it different. Also, noticibly vague, is the number of jobs that ';will be either created or saved';.
He is ';misspeaking'; because the stimulus is mostly filled with pet projects.
