Singles/Dating: Is this True?

Me and my friend in college look completely different. He has blonde hair blue eyes and not an ounce of facial hair and gels his hair up and wears button downs and ripped jeans all the time, whereas I have brown hair brown eyes and 5oclock shadow/stubble and tan skin with shorter hair and I wear regular tees and vnecks and dont really dress up.





I just transferred schools so I have some classes with freshman 17/18 year olds and it seems that ALL the girls like my friend because he looks ';softer'; and ';prettier'; and has a really nice-guy persona. Like he would go shopping with them and talk and talk. When we have classes with the seniors and grad students, 21+ year olds, it seems that I attract women alot more in this setting and he has a hard time because he gives off such a nice guy and soft vibe. It sort of shows that when your younger, the nice guy persona works to a charm but once you hit the 21/22+ age mark, women begin want a man who exudes confidence, not some metrosexual who spends an hour getting ready and will be their girly best friend and the girls whipping boy. I think it all goes back to that theory of who can and cant protect them and blah blah blah. I dont think you have to be an asshole per say, but rather a guy who is the definition of confident and wont become the girls ***** at a snap of the fingers. Basically they want a man and not a half man half woman





It seems that girls want the softer younger looking guy when they are high school and college but once they graduate they want a guy who looks like a man and all of that stuff. Like I always have struggled with girls in HS and Beggining of College because I have stubble and look like I am 23/24. But now in classes and work I am actually getting a lot of attention from women.Singles/Dating: Is this True?

It's less than they want a guy who's less 'soft', they just lower their standards as they get older, because they feel the need to get married and knocked up. Women start freaking out at the sound of their biological clocks ticking.

True, I think that the softer pretty boy look just give off the HS vibe %26amp; that's not attractive. Sounds like you're look is more realistic in today's world but it also gives off the laid back, stress free vibe which is enticing. I'm 21 %26amp; pretty boys just scream short term/fun/temporary. Though i'm anti V-neck (my friends/roommates agree) brown hair/stubble is hot! and definitely gives off the sexy mature look! way to be!
