The dissolved ions in seawater are always single atoms 鈥?true or false?

False. Although seawater contains (mostly) Sodium Chloride NaCl, it also contains sulfates (SO4 (2-)) which is not a single atom.The dissolved ions in seawater are always single atoms 鈥?true or false?
There are many polyatomic ions that can be in sea water. nitrates, sulfates, carbonates, etc
