Is it true that a single mother can have her collage 100% paid for, if so how?

I am 20 years old, i live in ohio and i have 6 month old baby girl. I was told that i can go to collage and get it paid for 100% ive even been told they will pay me to go to school. Paying for the school, gas and me like i was working. Is it true, if so please tell me how i can do this. I want a good life for my child, i would be going in to nursing just in case that matters. Is it true that a single mother can have her collage 100% paid for, if so how?
Yep, I am! You have to apply for your FAFSA and go into the school to see what scholarships are available...( In FL the state funded grants are dispersed direstly to the colleges and given out by them) Some of the scholarships I had gotten are childcare scholarship and a student support scholarship(thru the school/state) Most of your money should come from federal level (FAFSA). In all, I got BACK almost $2000 after tuition, books, lab and general fees, and will get another $1700 at the end of the semester (the amount reimbersed for tuition)

And just so you know, you can fill out a FAFSA just to see how much will be paid for, you dont have to go to college that year. It is not a commitment. And if your state gives grants indivisually, visit or call the financial aid office @ the college you are interested in and they can give you more information. Also check for private grants and scholarships sponsered by local companies/organizations.Is it true that a single mother can have her collage 100% paid for, if so how?
Go to the college you want to attend. talk to a person in the financial aid department(do NOT let them talk you into student loans). ask about pell grants and Fasa. if you don't live with your parents and say you are doing chores for an aunt and pay rent to live there at your aunts (or whoever i doubt a grandma) with the chore money to supoort yourself your more favored to get your education payed for.otherwise the government expects your parents to pay for you. oh and NEVER get student loans!!! you will not be able to pay the loan back on time as a nurse. unless you are going to be a doctor, lawyer,or engineer you can get loans but you said nurse and no way you would be able to pay it back with that salary you would just ruin your credit by student loans. hope this helps and good luck.
i am 20 yrs. old and have a two year old son and guess what i am getting a degree in marketing at queens unversity...and it is paid for!!!!!!!! i worked my butt off getting marks to graduate at the top of my class and for that i received a 4 year scholarship! so my answer to you is hard work will pay your way through life if you find out how to get paid to go to school (other then obtaining a masters degree or phd in which you get paid) then you let me know :)
It may be true, but it would be wasted on you. It should be a requirement that you have to be able to SPELL ';college'; before you can attend one.
The first thing an educated person should learn is where to seek information. Asking the thousands of idiots here who know nothing of your situation is not a very wise move. The likelihood of getting correct and meaningfull information is slight. That being said, you might try looking in the phone book under state of Ohio. Start with an employment division, call and ask about vocational training. That might be the right department and it might not, but the odds of acquiring helpfull information are much better than they are here.
In California a single mother with low income, does qualify for fee/ tuition wavier, book grants etc. as well as cash grants. The key is low income';.
Just ignore that looser who was using crude f--k words.

You should check with your local college or a counselor about this. it may be funded by financial aid.

Good luck!
