So us singles have shorter lives how horrid :PDo you think it is true married people live longer than singles?
Married people have more stress and heartache than single folks....Do you think it is true married people live longer than singles?
That's what the statistics show...it's not an assumption. It's easy to get stats on whether someone was married or not when they died...





So, we singles need to take better care of ourselves, lower our stress levels, and find happiness in ways other than with a romantic partner...

I only heard it about men. For men it makes sense. We don't do well on our own, we need the woman to keep us attached to the social network. Also, we need the woman to make sure we take care of ourselves. Women are great!

The truth is happy people live longer than depressed people or unhappy people. Maybe they had said that because the assumed you would be less lonely with a husband or wife as to 12 cats in a 1 bedroom apt. lol but no not true
I actually heard it the other way around, and the reason is because single people tend to have less stress. That's just what I was told in a lecture in my health psychology class
No way, I'm single and I'll outlive and out-drink any married person any day of the week. Cheers!

yes, happily married people do live longer. but divorced un happy married folks are just as doomed even more so then their pagan multi sex partner having single folks.

Uh...single people live longer b/c they are happier. Married people are all misearable and they die sooner..duh!
