Is it true single black mothers raise thugs?

A friend of mine said this, he said they hate black men so they raise them to be no good on purpose. I'm not racist, and neither is my friend he's black.Is it true single black mothers raise thugs?

';raise them to be no good on purpose'; that is insane! i would say that children brought up in underprivileged homes and to single moms will be more likely to be thugs.. because mother is absent more often, ';its a hard knock life'; growing up in the ghetto you kind of learn what you see, also a lot of times these moms are not too educated and dont offer as much love and attention.. so the child seeks ';family'; and a ';father figure'; in friends and the streets and also due to lack of education and attention college isnt an option and the streets and crime are the only means for money.. not to mention if the home was violent with out love.. this leads to the child vein violent as an adult.. im a single mom to a son we live in the ghetto (his father is absent) i worry all the time that he will go up and be involved in such things.. due to the influences of the neighborhood.. but what i think will save him is the love i give him and the involvement i have in his life and school.
It's only if a black woman has had bad experiences of men,and then raises her son constantly going';Oh,you're just like your father...,etc';-that's the only way these problems can start,and it's not as if all black women raise their kids like that now,is it?
