Is it true that more single family women household are being affected by the subprime issue than men?

I have heard it is a big problem in Baltimore. What other areas are you seeing this trend? Is it true that more single family women household are being affected by the subprime issue than men?
I can believe it, we don't get paid as much as men, %26amp; we try to get into a house for our kids, %26amp; then, stuff happens %26amp; we lose what we had. I have been afraid to go for one of those mortgages, just for that reason. What happens if I lose my job, for whatever reason? I don't have health insurance, because I can't afford that %26amp; rent too! So, I waste my money on rent, that is as much as a morgage. Is it true that more single family women household are being affected by the subprime issue than men?
Probably.
It was a problem everywhere that unrealistic people, making bad financial decisions, tried to buy more house can they could afford. Greed is now biting them.
No, foreclosures cross gender and racial lines. It seems that a lot of people did not have a clue about money management and budgeting. I want it all and I want it now sort of backfired on them. They got themselves in trouble by not properly analyzing there financial capabilities with the mortgage rates and adjustments. It is their problem. Why should I bail them out?
who cares about gender issues when we have far more important things happening in this world right now?
